In March 2026, I’ll be riding 700 kilometres in just 5 days — a decision made somewhere between passion for youth mental health and a worrying amount of optimism.
I’m taking on this challenge to support Youth Focus, an organisation that provides vital mental health support to young people when they need it most. As a counsellor working with children and adolescents, I see firsthand how early support, understanding, and connection can change the course of a young person’s life. I also see how stretched services are — and just how essential organisations like Youth Focus truly are.
This ride represents more than distance. It represents countless 4:30am training wake-ups, tired legs, and long rides powered by coffee and commitment — all in the name of something far bigger than sore quads. Every kilometre reflects the resilience I see daily in the young people I work with, and every donation helps ensure Youth Focus can continue providing life-changing care.
Thank you for supporting youth mental health, cheering me on, and helping turn early alarms, aching muscles, and questionable life choices into something genuinely meaningful. Una
