Youth suicide and mental health are acute issues in our community - made worse by the influence and impact of social media.
2026 will be the 12th time I saddle up for the Ride for Youth. This year I am very excited that Ben my 20-year old son is joining me on the two-day challenge ride.
All money raised goes to Youth Focus, a phenomenal organisation that provides unlimited free and confidential counselling to young people in need. A big thank you to everyone who has donated and helped fund these activities. By way of reference, it costs approximately $3,000 to provide counselling to a young client for the typical 6-month period spent with Youth Focus. This year Youth Focus will help over 4,000 people.
