In 2025, I will participate in my second Hawaiian Ride for Youth. I am both privileged and excited to have been selected as a rider in this incredible community event, which will see 150 riders cycle across the southwest of WA, from Albany to Perth. This ride raises awareness for youth mental health and funds for Youth Focus. To date, the event has raised nearly $32 million for the organisation.
Youth Focus is a non-profit organisation that provides accessible mental health services and programs throughout WA to support at-risk young people. Over the past few years, I’ve watched my daughter face mental health challenges, and finding the right support has been one of the toughest experiences I’ve ever gone through. Youth Focus played a pivotal role in that journey, and without their guidance, I truly don’t know where we would be today.
I am incredibly grateful for the help Youth Focus has provided, not just to my daughter, but also to me as her Carer. Participating in this ride is a small way to give back and along with your donation we can say the biggest THANK YOU to this remarkable organisation! :)x
