I never imagined that plucking up the courage to start riding my bike to work back in 2012 would lead me here — to Ironman finishes, marathons, charity rides, and now the Hawaiian Ride for Youth.
For me, it’s not just about the kilometres — it’s about community, resilience, and remembering where I came from. I know the hurt that can lead to depression, self-harm or worse, and I ride because I want young people to feel supported, valued, and never alone. 💛
Every pedal stroke is for a bigger purpose — and if I can make even a small difference, it’s worth it. 🙏
