This will be my 9th year riding in the Hawaiian Ride for Youth, and it continues to be one of the most meaningful commitments of my life.
Being part of this event is something I will always hold close to my heart. Each year, we ride knowing that every dollar raised goes directly to Youth Focus, helping provide free, professional mental health services to young people facing the very real challenges of today.
One of the most powerful parts of the journey is visiting schools along the way. Seeing firsthand the impact of open conversations around mental health — and knowing that we’re helping young people feel heard, supported and less alone — makes every early morning training ride and every kilometre on the road worthwhile.
As always, I ride in memory of my beautiful sister Claire, who sadly passed away in 2017, and my Mum, who we lost in 2022. Their memory is with me in every pedal stroke and is a constant reminder of why this cause matters so deeply.
I was honoured to share more of my story in a video with Youth Focus:

If you’re able to support my ride this year, I would be incredibly grateful. Your donation goes directly toward ensuring young people can access the help they need, when they need it.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. 💛🚴♂️
