This is my first year as HRFY rider and my first time on a road bike was September 2023 , pardon the pun but what a ride it has been.
I am fortunate to be part of a community who want to raise awareness around youth mental health and raise funds for Youth Focus the agency who do the vital work with young people to improve wellbeing and mental health outcomes.
This is a cause close to my heart having spent most of my career working with children and adolescents.
My experience of working across the spectrum from the most advantaged and disadvantaged young people is that poor mental health without support leads to devastating outcomes for young people , families and the wider community.
Thank you to all those supporting me to participate in this worthwhile endeavour.
