I am a Mother of 4, Partner, Registered Nurse, Sister, Daughter, Friend... and many of my loved ones have been affected by mental health issues.
I started cycling just over 12 months ago and this will be my first ride travelling from Albany to Perth raising funds and awareness for Youth Focus and its mental health services.
It is an absolute honor to participate in this amazing cause to bring awareness around mental health and to support our young ones. Being part of this noble fundraising event helps to provide critical resources, support and coping strategies for our youth to prevent the dark spiral of mental health, and to reduce the stigma surrounding it.
