And I am back for my third Hawaiian Ride for Youth in 2024 and this time we have a whole new team. I will be part of the Wheatbelt peloton which will complete my trilogy of all 3 routes from Albany:)
I have always been an advocate of using exercise to help with my own Mental Health and I'd like to think I encourage and motivate my friends and family to do the same #HealthyBodyHealthyMind.
Joining the HRFY in 2021 has honestly been lifechanging. I have a whole new network of friends and cycling has become a core part of my life. In 2023 I used the RFY training to help me prepare for my first Ironman in Cairns. This eventually led to competing in the World Champsionships in Kona. The support I received from my HRFY comrades was amazing and I will continue to ride with this group for as longf as I can :)
I look forward to you following my journey as I prepare to make the 700km journey yet again from Albany to Perth in aid of great cause.
