EOIs open for School Presenters

Go Back

A key component of Ride week is our school visits. Along each of the routes, riders will visit regional schools and share stories of their personal mental health experiences to educate and generate meaningful conversations among young people. One of the most powerful things you can do is talk openly about a personal experience with a mental health challenge. It does not always have to be your own experience – it can be something that affected a friend, peer or family member. By generating open conversation about mental health challenges, we can encourage young people to do the same, so they are empowered to seek help.

We invite you to submit an expression of interest to present at one of the schools during Ride Week. You can complete this form here and send to admin@rideforyouth.com.au by 31 January 2023.

If you are selected to share your story, you will be partnered with a Youth Focus Clinician and/or Education Facilitator who will support you in crafting your story to be shared with young people and who will also be there on the day to facilitate the discussion.
